Mothers of the Land | Screening Session & Live Music (2024)

We are pleased to invite you all to our second Unknotting Sentipensares screening session: ‘Mothers of the Land’.

In this occasion, we will have the chance to watch the documentary ‘Sembradoras de Vida’ - Álvaro Sarmiento and Diego Sarmiento | Perú | 2019 | 74 min.

Follow five women from the Andean highlands in their daily struggle to maintain a traditional and organic way of working the land. In the Andean worldview, women and earth are strongly interrelated. Both a woman’s body and the earth’s soil are capable of giving and nurturing life.
