Quipu of the Resistance
From Abya Yala Collective and Blak Dot Gallery
We welcome everyone to share food, music and political thoughts while joining us in tying resistance knots (Quipu). In convulsed, confusing times, but which are also full of hope, we believe it is important to generate encounters of dialogue and discussion to sustain ourselves and recognise ourselves as part of the social awakening that is spreading throughout the galaxy.
Let’s join together in a Quipu of resistance and let’s move our bodies to the deadly tunes from the queen of perreo, DJ General Feelings. + Peruvian food to share and Sangria for the thirsty + To resist the pollution of Mother Earth, the responsibility of bringing your own non disposable glass and fork is a vital reciprocity action for this meeting
This gathering is held on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. We celebrate the continuity and resistance of the Wurundjeri people and all the original nations of this continent and the Torres Strait in their care of the waters, lands and stories.
Resistance, until it's worth living!
